Welcome to uk-colubrids.co.uk

I am a private snake keeper/breeder and have been collecting and breeding reptiles for 15 years.

As much as I would like to keep all the offspring I produce, this is not possible so with uk-colubrids I plan to share my breeding projects of pure and hybrid colubrids from my on going breeding projects

There are lots of places to learn about snakes and many places to get advice on raising them as pets. Many breeders and hobbyists, including us here at uk-colubrids.co.uk, and we are more than happy to help you if you have any questions.

The venom-injecting fangs associated with venomous colubrids are almost always in the back of the mouth, compared to vipers and elapids. The Colubrids are certainly not a natural group, as many are more closely related to other groups, such as elapids, than to each other.Read More »
